Post Card From Salone

$ 10 USD

Sierra Leone turned 50 on April 27, 2011 and we are giving you an opportunity to commemorate the event by buying a post card for your own keeping or for your friends. The post card is a picture of the Cotton Tree and the Law Court Building.  The Cotton Tree remains a natural memorial to the end of slavery and the return of Africa’s children to what was known as the ‘Province of Freedom.’The post card comes with a message that reads: Land That We Love-Salone 50; and this quotation from Sir Milton Margai:” You have an especial responsibility…to avoid conflicts which may be detrimental to the good of your country.” There is also room for you to write a personal message and mail it to your friends.
